1 Great camera for those starting out
Great camera for those of us that don't know enough about digital slr tech. I was taking crystal clear, vivid color photos right out of the box. I watched a few videos online about using the camera and they've helped immensely. The only downside is that the camera body is pretty heavy on its own.... before I added a lens or a flash or a mount. But that's no big deal. I wish I'd have had this camera on the last dozen vacations! The image quality is crazy good. Great all around camera for the price.
2 Nikon Optics satisfy my wife
This is the camera my wife and I own and use for our budding photo business. We've had it two or three years. I liked it (and the price range) so much I bought another one for the company camera at my day job. Nice flexibility with the manual and preset settings, easy manual/auto focus, shutter/aperture priority options, expandability with the hot shoe and digital connections. Easy SD card removal on the side of the camera, so I don't have to remove the quick-release platform to access it. Great continuous shooting and sports capability. Really stops the action cleanly. Nikon optics satisfy my wife. Would I buy it again? I did.
3 Even better than the D3100
After I fell and broke my cherished D3100, I ordered the new D3200 as a replacement. It has everything I loved about my 3100 and even more. I love the new red body color option. The camera feels just right in my hand, not too big, not too small. I am far from a professional and I love that this camera lets me shoot with the freedom from thought that I get with a point and shoot but still has all the options available if I want to drill down to a more technical shooting experience. First shots bear out the unsurpassed image quality that drew me to Nikon in the first place. I love this camera.
4 Exactly what I was looking for!
Have had this camera for about a month, so far I am incredibly pleased! It arrived from seller much quicker than originially quoted, packaged well and in perfect condition. I am a beginner at photography, using it for family shots and scenery. It is very user friendly, and took minimal effort to figure out how to use it and capture beautiful pictures. After comparing many dslr's, this one definitely seemed like the best bang fo your buck. I highly recommend this camera!
5 Mine arrived early! It's perfect!
I just to my camera delivered 4 days early! I am an amateur photographer with a tight budget, and was looking forward to an entry-level camera that was going to do better than my point-and-shoot which has the effect of being a bit fuzzy. My point and shoot was a cheap camera I bought for my honeymoon, but it did its job well, and I needed the upgrade. After saving up for a long time, I found this one and bought it. This is what I chose for my first DSLR, after doing a bit of research, and this one is just perfect for me.
It is so light weight, which makes it easier to carry around in the bag. I live in a very scenic area and after the battery is charged, I am off on a photography adventure!
6 Very satisfied with the Nikon D3200
I purchased two of these for my teenage daughters and they like them very much. They have been using them for 6 months and they are both happy with the quality of the photographs. The Nikon D3200 is lightweight and simple to use. It is also great for taking action photos. I used it to take photos of my daughter during a soccer game and I was impressed with the speed of the succession of the photos and how well it captures things in motion.
7 This camera is a Teacher and I'm the Teacher's Pet
I can't say much more about this unit than has already been said. It is a beginner's dream. I have learned so much by having this camera that would have been such a struggle with any other camera as a newbie. I have already taken some fantastic photos, and videos are not bad as well. I think that when I am ready to move up to the next level this camera body will remain in my bag. I really love this unit, and I continue to grow with it every day.
8 Very happy with the purchase, would buy again!
After shopping around for a while I ordered a Nikon D3200. Went with refurbished to save some money and so far am very happy with the decision. The product came cosmetically perfect as far as I could tell. It looks brand new and more importantly, functions flawlessly. Shipping was prompt and on time. Very happy with the purchase and would buy again!

A great camera for an even better price! It can be used by someone who knows nothing about photography except which end to point a the subject or for the wantabe professional. A great buy, excellent quality and photos quality that will knock your socks off!
10 The best keeps getting better
I shot the new camera in several modes (raw, standard fine) and the results were fantastic. The results rival my old film cameras, plus. Each image is sharp and reproduces beautifully. In fact I like it so well I gave my D-90 to my son. What more can I say.

Heard nothing but good reviews about this camera. I'm new to the world of photography and this camera always came up as a recommendation from experienced photographers. The GUIDE menu is helpful for those situations where you're not sure which setting would be best to shoot. Camera is lightweight and fits comfortable in my hands. A great buy!
12 Great camera! Photographer Enthusiast a must!
I am simply amazed with the photos this camera outputs! I have used cameras all my life and at times thought I had good SLR or DSLR's that took great pictures. This Nikon D3200 put all the others to shame! The photos are on a scale 10 times better than any other camera I have had. Colors are dead on life like. Focus is done for you and is perfect. If you are a photographer enthusiast this is the camera to have...from beginner to pro. It has built in guides that will have you taking great photos in no time at all and best of all when you no longer need the guides, it has nearly all the manual settings most pro cameras have...so when you no longer need the guides...your creativity will take over and you will never look back.
13 Brings Mediocrity Forward
This Nikon D3200 exceeds expectations for me. Its astuteness makes the mediocrity of my photographs come alive. I would never have believed that mechanics could influence the creative, but this Nikon does. Not stating a disappointment but the limitations of the 18-55mm lens is challenging. I bought the camera in full disclosure, seeking to test that limitation and i am delighted.
14 Amazing beginner camera
I love this camera. I fashion myself a amateur photographer. It has all of the bells and whistles that someone like me could ask for and then some. I am sure I will never use all the wonderful features this camera offers. An amazing and reasonably affordable DSLR for the beginner, student and amateur photog.
15 An excellent and versatile SLR camera
I am delighted with this camera. It does all that I expected and more. While I am not a novice with respect to SLR cameras neither would I describe as "advanced. The manual is very helpful and it makes getting started easy. The pictures are sharp and crisp. Great choice!

I am very happy with my purchase of this camera. It came promptly and everything was perfectly secure. It is very user-friendly and it is a great starter DSLR. I am impressed by the video quality and really like the range of things I get to do with this camera. I am a manual only person, I almost never have it on automative. I love that the lens is VR. Overall, not so bad camera.
